Who We Are

 john_picJohn Lipinski, Ph.D.

John completed his Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Iowa, worked for three years as a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute for Neuroinformatics in Germany, and then at the U.S. Army Research Institute at Fort Benning, GA.

Along the way he witnessed firsthand the value and power of analytics literacy across all slices of the workforce and across all levels of analytics expertise. In short, people who understand analytics tend to make better, more informed decisions for themselves and for those that depend on them.

At the same time, the “analytics movement” took off in the business world, pulling traditional HR and business intelligence functions along for the ride.

With these new (and unexpected) opportunities, he transitioned to the private sector where he now works as a data scientist in Human Capital/ HR Analytics.

He specializes in rigorous descriptive statistics, leading edge predictive analytics, machine learning,  text analysis, and performance measurement.

The best part of his job is breaking down the complicated stuff into digestible pieces to help others make better people decisions.

Clint is formally trained in behavioral research and statistics, with deep experience in research design, statistical analysis, analytics, and data management. He has a passion for results-driven projects that enable end users to simplify apparently complex problems and visualize critical but overlooked relationships.

His experience varies from application development within the intelligence sector to financial stress testing for Fortune 500 companies, providing a breadth of data and project knowledge that can only result from experience in a wide variety of settings.
